Location: McDiarmid Park Date: 8th May Time:3pm-6pm Posted by THE AULD HOOSE PUB, PERTH CITY CENTRE We were asked by Alan and Ruth following the tragic loss of one of their 19 month old twin girls to help them to raise money for the Meningitis Trust in her memory. We have organized a football competition called the ‘Alexis Rose Memorial Cup’ which will take place at McDiarmid Park on Sunday 8th May at 3pm. There will be 8 teams from across the city playing in 2 groups of 4, the best from each group will meet in the final. The details will be given to the teams this week along with sponsorship forms. We would welcome any of you who want to come and support the teams to do so and we will be collecting donations on the gate. After this we will go back to the pub and there will be some grub, a Quiz night and during this the raffle/auction will be drawn. We are asking many local businesses to support this event by donating prizes for the raffle/auction and so far you have been superb. We still need more though, as the more we get the more money we can raise for the Alexis Rose tribute fund and help the family reach their goal of £80,000.
