Alan and Ruth Glynn would like to welcome you to their Race Night. This will be held on 6th May 2011, to raise funds for Alexis Rose Tribute Fund for Meningitis UK Location: The Abbotsford Lounge Bar Abbot Street, Craigie Perth, United Kingdom The Abbotsford Pub in Craigie has kindly agreed to host a Race Night. This event is to be held in memory of our little girl, Alexis Rose, who passed away from meningtitis this year.The proceeds of the Race Night will go to the Alexis Rose Tribute Fund for Meningitis Trust. RACE NIGHT 6TH MAY
11th May 2011There were 6 races, with 8 horses racing each so we raised £120 from the race sponsorship (£20 a race) and £240 from the horses which were £5 each. We also had programmes to sell on the night for £1 each and raffle tickets at £1per strip. In all we raised £1144.30 which is just amazing!
It was a great night and well hosted by Chick and Peggy. Some great bidding wars and good names for the horses, like Start Ship Trooper.
